Checkout.com’s AI Engine Generates $10B in Revenue

The intersection of AI and payments continues to reshape global commerce. Checkout.com’s Intelligent Acceptance engine, designed to optimize transactions at scale, has now driven over $10 billion in additional merchant revenue.
Processing insights from more than 20 billion data points, the AI-powered system refines payment messaging, routing, authentication, and retries in real time. As each optimization takes effect, it strengthens the network for all participating merchants—creating a cycle of continuous improvement.
In just under 2 years, Intelligent Acceptance has reached a pace of generating $1 billion in revenue every 35 days. Businesses like Vinted, Papa Johns, and Delivery Hero are among those seeing tangible benefits, with merchant acceptance rates rising by an average of 3.8% last year.
“Doubling the amount of revenue generated for merchants at 7x the speed of last year shows the growing power of our network,” notes Daniel Linder, Senior Product Director at Checkout.com. With AI-driven models trained on billions of transactions, every payment feeds back into a system designed to drive efficiency at scale.
